SSP Traffic’s Major Decision – Strict Measures for Public Safety

Quetta: The SSP Traffic Quetta has announced that no unregistered motorcycle will be allowed on the city’s roads anymore. Anyone violating this rule will face action under Section 115.

Number Plates Made Mandatory
According to the police, every motorcycle must have two number plates. Bikes with missing plates, or only one plate, will not be allowed on the road.

Why Was This Decision Taken?
The SSP Traffic explained that most crimes are committed using motorcycles—particularly those without number plates or registration. In such cases, it becomes very difficult to trace the criminals. This step is aimed at reducing crime rates and ensuring better law and order in the city.

Message to the Public
Traffic police have urged citizens to immediately register their motorcycles in their own names and ensure both number plates are properly fixed. This will not only help in following the law but will also assist the police in identifying culprits in case of any crime or accident.
