What is Marriage, Its Essntials And Capicity Of ,Marriage According to Islamic Point Of View
Marriage:
it is a social contract entered into between a Muslim male and woman for a legalization and procreation of offsprings.
Essentials of Marriage:
- Offer :-
There shall be proposal from either party/side either male/female.
- Acceptence :-
It is necessary for the validity of the mariage that proposal should be followed by acceptence.
- Free Consent :-
The acceptence to the proposal shall be obtained with a free will of the party concerned.
For the validity of a marriage it is necessary that the dower shall be paid by the Husband to the wife.
4) Dower:
It is the sum of money or any other sort of property to which the wife is entitled to receive from his husband in the consideration of the marriage. It is not the consideration like sell or purchase but it is the consideration / mark of respect.

5) Witness:
For the validity of a marriage the presence of witnesses are important for the contract of marriage. According to the sunni version of law the presence of two male adult, sane witnesses are necessary for the validity of a perfect marriage. If two male are not available, then one male and two women are necessary for the validity of marriage, if the above circumstance are not fulfilled then the marriage will be irregular.
In Sheya version of law the presence of the witnesses are not required in sheya version of law.
6) Number of Waves
The minimum number of mirage for a muslim male is four. beyond that maximum limit the marriage will be considerd as irregular.
Capacity of a Marriage
Every muslim of sound mind and who has attend the age of maturity ( fifteen year old) can bind himself/herself in the contract of a marriage
if a person is not reached to the age of maturity then his/her guardian should take care of his/her marriage and when the
person has reaches the age of maturity then he/she should have the authority to accept or reject/revoke the mirrage.
