Former Pakistan cricket team captain Muhammad Rizwan has reportedly refused to sign the central contract offered by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to sources, Rizwan has placed several conditions before the board and has made it clear that he will only sign the contract once those demands are met.
Insiders reveal that Rizwan has asked the PCB to clarify the reasons behind his exclusion from the national T20 squad, expressing dissatisfaction over the board’s treatment toward him.
However, sources claim that the PCB has not accepted any of Rizwan’s demands, and there appears to be little chance of compromise at this stage.
Rizwan was reportedly placed in Category B of the new central contracts list alongside ten other players. Still, he is said to be unhappy with the board’s decision and believes his performance merits higher recognition.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that all other national team players have already signed their respective central contracts with the PCB.
